Hello Readers and Fans! Welcome to my official Author's website. My name is J.M. Casas Jr. (Jesse Manuel Casas Jr.) and I have been writing since the age of twelve. I've always had a passion for fiction and history. My favorite genre in writing is Horror/Suspense and Thrillers. I love something that keeps you on the edge of your seat. My style of writing is somewhat different from others. I write as a script. So when you are reading, its almost like you are having a visual. Its like "Reading a Movie" if you will. I've written many stories in the past including my first book, "THE HOLOCAUST TERROR" which was based on a survivors true story. The follow up was "HOLOCAUST: The Terror Continues" wasn't as great as the first, but completed the story from a Soldier's point of view. I went on to writing the cult hit "THE CALLING OF LITTLE CHILDREN" which was my first horror book. I then worked on my first fantasy series, "ONCE UPON A TIME" The stories were supposed to be a seven part book series, but went on to only be 5 which included;
1. Once Upon a Time: Curse of the Medallions
2. Once Upon a Time: Enter the Dark Woods
3. Once Upon a Time: The Revenge of the Warlock
4. Once Upon a Time: The Return of the Witch
5. A Fairy Tale: The Lost Chapters (Prequel)
After completing the first three books, I began working on the sequel to "The Calling" as it was well known, "THE CALLING OF LITTLE CHILDREN 2: A NIGHT OF TERROR" went on to be as successful as the first. Then I completed "THE CALLING OF LITTLE CHILDREN 3: A NIGHTMARE'S REVENGE" which did not do so well.
After completing the rest of "ONCE UPON A TIME" books, I focused on my personal life. And after a two year break, I returned to writing and began to rewrite the "CALLING" books. It was basically a Reboot. It was an updated and extended version of my cult classic that went on to be my best seller. As did the sequel. I even went on to reboot the third book and eventually revised the entire book. This was my best seller yet! After another year of personal life, I began to brainstorm on a Fourth and final book for the series "THE CALLING OF LITTLE CHILDREN 4: THE BOOK OF RESURRECTION" which outsold the entire first original series! I was on the brink of doing alterations on all of my revised extended books, when then inevitable happened. My computer crashed and I simply lost everything. Till this day I regret not backing up my computer like I should have been. So I took it as a sign that I needed to move on from my past and begin working on new material. Alas comes my current project, "THE POWER" which has seemed to become a pre-cult hit. 2010 is going to be a great year!
